We've compiled a list of our most frequently asked questions (FAQ).  Hopefully these will help you in planning for your big day or next photo shoot.  As always, if you have a question that's not on this list, feel free to reach out to us, we would love to help! What makes for the Best Photos?

There are three large factors in great photos:

1. Location. Every great photo you have come across or seen is always at a fantastic location.  A great location makes or breaks a photo.  You can take the same shot in Bass Hall as you can take in a local church foyer, but we can say with certainty that the shot in Bass Hall will always look better.  Some locations charge a small fee to shoot at their locations.  Most of the time, that fee is totally worth it.

2. Sun Light. To get great photos, no light is as good as the Sun itself.  It's also important to note what time of the day it is.  We typically call the hour or so before sunset the "golden hour".  This is the time where sun light becomes very soft and flattering.  When scheduling shoots, we do our best to aim for this time.  Direct sunlight around noon or early afternoon creates very harsh shadows on the face which is very unflattering.

3. Appearance. This probably goes without saying, but what you wear and how you look is very important to your photos looking the best they can.  We encourage all of our clients to plan what they will wear for their photo shoots.  Wear your best outfit! Go shopping for a new pair of heels or dress.  For guys, think through simple things like hair cuts and good grooming.  Also for guys, wear your best for your lady.  Go shopping and grab a new in-style shirt; put on a great watch or a good pair of shoes.  All these little details will pay dividends in the end.

What's the first step?

Do your best to give us your dates, locations, and anything else that might help us.  From there, we'll get back to you as quickly as we can.  After we connect over email, we typically like to get together over coffee to get to know you a little better. There we'll go over all the details to make sure everyone is on the same page before moving forward.  We have found that meeting our clients is an important step in building trust which helps makes great photos in the end.

When can I expect my photos?

We are very proud to offer a turn around time that's one of the fastest in the Industry.  We aim to have all photos back to our clients within 4-6 weeks.

Do I get the digital files?

Yes you do!  We send you all of the final edited picture files to print and share how you choose.  While we retain the rights to edit the photos, you can print to your hearts content.  Of course, we have a great online gallery where you can order prints from our top of the line printing company.  Those prints are made to last a lifetime and will reflect the quality that we are so proud to offer.
